GAIL TENNANT began her career as a therapist over 30 years ago. She holds degrees from University of Mass, University of NC, and Cal State University of Hayward. She earned her MFCC license in 1980 and Hypnosis Certification from UC Berkeley in 1982. She has worked as a teacher, school counselor, therapist in psychiatric hospitals, and social worker, and has been on the staff of the Trauma Center at Children’s Hospital in Oakland. Gail has been in private practice in Berkeley for 20 years. She currently supervises students and interns, sees adults, adolescents, couples and families, and works with students at Berkeley High School. She integrates her clinical experience with the practice of transpersonal and energy psychology, spiritual traditions and the study of dreams.
LEIGH LIGHTFOOT combines 30 years professional experience in drama and dance with her work as a therapist and teacher of psychology. She is a graduate of UC Berkeley, has a MFA in Dance from Mills College, and a MA from California Institute of Integral Studies Somatics Program. She completed 3000 internship hours with City of Berkeley’s Family, Youth and Children’s Services, as a Mental Health Clinician working in school and clinic settings. She is additionally influenced by psychodynamic and Jungian psychology, and multi-cultural healing traditions; and specializes in integrative mind/body psychotherapy.
